Manchester City are reportedly set to offer Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna a contract this summer in order to snap him up on a free transfer.

The Frenchman is currently out of contract in the summer and The Gunners hierarchy have not managed to come to an agreement with the right-back over the length of his deal.

Inter Milan President Erick Thorir cryptically revealed today that the Nerazzuri had missed out on the player - and that he wanted to stay in the Premier League.

And it seems he could follow in the footsteps of Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy, Kolo Toure et al and make the move to Eastlands - as a three-year deal is reportedly on the table.

Arsenal are being linked with a move for Nuri Sahin today. The Turkish midfielder has spent the season on loan at Borussia Dortmund - and despite an excellent beginning to the campaign his performances have recently tailed off.

Arsenal previously chased him last summer but could not agree a loan fee with his parent club Real Madrid - and he went to Liverpool instead.

Kim Kallstrom has spoken about his debut for the club.

The Swede, on loan from Spartak Moscow, entered the fray in the second half - and despite the game ending in a 2-2 draw he was pleased with his debut - stating:

"For me, it felt really good coming on. I had a lot of time with the ball, I had some clean passes. I was involved and I'm just pleased to be out there playing. It's exciting, and it's like a dream come true to play for Arsenal in the Premier League. I'm just unhappy my debut didn't end in a win.”

Charlton Athletic starlet Jordan Cousins is dreaming of a move to Arsenal. It is reported that Gunners scouts saw him in action against Nottingham Forest last night - a game in which he scored the winner.

And he said post-game:

“I do support Arsenal. Obviously the Premier League is my long-term dream but the short-term is about keeping Charlton in the Championship. I’ve got two more years on my contract and I’m focused on that.”
