Arsenal fans have voted for the player currently on loan that they would like to see given a first-team chance next season.
Last week we ran a poll asking Arsenal fans which player currently out on loan they would like to see given a first-team chance next season.
Unlike some of their Premier League rivals, the Gunners do not have a huge number of players currently enjoying their football elsewhere, but there are still some very talented men who will be wondering if and when their chance will come.
Some have previously had spells in the Arsenal squad, while others are still waiting for that first chance to pull on the famous red shirt. But when we asked the fans who they thought deserved a chance, one player won the vote by quite some margin.
It will come as no surprise that Joel Campbell triumphed with 61% of the vote.
The forward is enjoying a fantastic spell on loan at Olympiakos, where he has scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists to date.
For a while, it even looked like he would help knock Manchester United out of this season’s Champions League, but that was not to be.
Wenger has reportedly told Campbell that he sees him in his first-team plans for the new campaign, and given his emergence it would come as a real surprise if he does not make a regular impact at the Emirates Stadium.
Of the other players included in the poll, Chuks Aneke came second with an impressive 22% of the vote followed by Chuba Akpom (10%), Francis Coquelin (4%) and Benik Afobe (2%).
