VIDEO: Lukaku shows Mourinho what he's missing with yet another goal

Romelu Lukaku

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku was once again on the scoresheet tonight, as he put the Toffees 2-0 up over Newcastle.

Lukaku, 20, is on another season-long loan deal from Chelsea having spent all of last term at West Bromwich Albion, but has hit his 12th goal of the season against the Magpies to hand Roberto Martinez's side a 2-0 lead.

With Gerard Deulofeu free down the right hand side, Lukaku exhibited excellent movement to get himself into the box and latch on to the Spaniard's ball across the six yard box, and Lukaku slid in to rifle the ball into the top corner of the goal.

Speculation continues to link Lukaku with a permanent move away from Chelsea this summer, but with Samuel Eto'o, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba all flattering to deceive in front of goal this season, Blues boss Jose Mourinho would be foolish to ignore the Belgian international, who could have a similar impact as Didier Drogba at Stamford Bridge.

In the meantime, Everton will be ecstatic that they have been able to harness Lukaku's ability this season, as his goals have take Everton within touching distance of European football once again.
