Kyle Walker is a doubt for Tottenham’s trip to Liverpool on Sunday according to the London Evening Standard.

The Standard reports that he has a pelvic problem and is not being considered for the game at the weekend but Emmanuel Adebayor and Sandro could be in line for a return from injury. Vlad Chiriches could also be in line for a return in the under-21’s game against Arsenal.

TalkSport has also reported that Chiriches is returning to fitness and that Michael Dawson has made a return to full training.

Head Coach Tim Sherwood is quoted, saying: "Vlad has been out for a while and we have to make sure we take our time with him.

"We're pleased to see him back in training this week and we're looking to drop him back into Friday's Under-21 game against Arsenal at the Lane.

"Michael trained at the end of last week as well, we're pleased with his progress and most of all, delighted we've more players from which to select from."

Nacer Chadli has told the Tottenham website that the side needs to show the same sort of passion and fight that led to Spurs overturning a two goal deficit to win 3-2 against Southampton on Sunday.

Chadli, described the opening period of the game as a ‘nightmare’ as the side went 2-0 down.

He said: “If there is only two seconds left to play you still have to believe because one second is enough to score a goal.

“We showed great performance and character. We have to keep going and continue to play like that, with passion, to fight for each other and we’ll be okay.”

Tottenham will have to battle it out with Borussia Dortmund if they want to land Red Bull Salzburg’s Saido Mane in the summer, according to TalkSport.

The Senegalese midfielder has scored 17 goals for the Austrian side in all competitions this season.
