First Gerrard, now City star as ANOTHER record broken at Old Trafford

Liverpool captain opened a Manchester United wound before Manchester City striker rubbed salt in it.

When Liverpool visited Old Trafford earlier this month and slayed Manchester United 3-0 they left with a record, or, for the sake accuracy, their captain Steven Gerrard left Stretford having set a record as he became the most prolific opponent inside the Theatre of Dreams having taken his career tally to five at United's manor thanks to his penalty spot brace.

Like Liverpool, Manchester City competed at Old Trafford earlier this evening, Tuesday and, like their fellow Premier League title challengers, they defeated the once-great Manchester United by 3-0 scoreline.

They also left with a record, or, for accuracy, striker Edin Dzeko did as he became the man with the fastest ever away goal at United having taken just 44 seconds to get his name on the score-sheet.

United have now suffered ten Premier League defeats this season.
