A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Tim Sherwood has reportedly sent his chief scout to watch the 21-year-old in action over the rest of the season.
Chelsea and Manchester City are thought to be among the other clubs interested in the £10 million rated star who can play out wide and up front.
Tottenham head coach Sherwood has praised his side following their dramatic win against Southampton at White Hart Lane yesterday.
Spurs came from two goals down to beat the Saints 3-2 in a vital win, enabled by a late Gylfi Sigurdsson strike.
“Let me tell you, it’s harder to come from 2-0 down at home, than it is to come from 2-0 down away from home. Unless you’ve played the game, you don’t understand that,” said the boss.
Christian Eriksen, who bagged a brace during the game, has revealed that a harsh half-time team talk caused the comeback.
Sherwood reportedly ripped into his players at the break, which prompted a great response over the second 45 minutes.
“We got a little speech at half-time and in the second half we were new guys. We try to play like the manager wanted, we showed it way more in the second half than the first half,” added the Dane.
