In December, it was announced that Beckham and his delegation has been chosen to have talks with with Miami mayor Carlos Gimenez over the potential of running the Miami MLS franchise, and in February it was confirmed that the investment group led by Beckham had exercised their option on the team.
And now, with a 2017 date set on when the team will be able to go, new pictures have been released of the new 25,000 seater stadium in the Port of Miami.
At that capacity, the stadium would become the third biggest MLS stadium, and will reportedly include a restaurant and a nightclub into the facilities, as Beckham looks to create a new 'Theatre of Dreams'.
There is no name for the stadium yet, as it's expected that a name will be confirmed once construction has started, but Beckham's venture into owning a team is shaping up nicely based on the digitally created pictures shown below.
