West Bromwich Albion fans have been venting their anger on social media after it was revealed they will be charged £56 for an away seat at Manchester City in April.
The Baggies will travel to the Etihad Stadium on April 21 with the match scheduled to be shown live on Sky Sports as one of their Monday Night Football fixtures.
But today Albion fans have fumed at being charged £56 for a game that will be shown live on television. Some have labelled in a ‘disgrace’ and even asked fellow fans to boycott the match, while others complain of a 25% increase on a ticket for the same game last season.
We should boycott Man City away - £56 and it's Easter Monday at 8pm on Sky! Complete joke... #wba— Nick (@nickc_1991) March 24, 2014
£56 pound for a ticket for Man City vs West Brom, disgrace. #AMF— Kai Brannigan-Fleet (@KaiBFleet) March 24, 2014
£56 for man city away is a joke, 40 odd quid last year was bad enough— Cory (@wba_cory) March 24, 2014
The game takes place on Easter Monday, and will prove another tough fixture in Albion’s nervy Premier League run-in.
Would you pay £56 for a ticket for a game that will be televised live?
