Diablo III: Reaper of Souls expansion out 25th March for PC and Mac

Reaper Of Souls

PC and Mac players of Blizzard’s RPG loot-romp will be able to get their hands on the Reaper of Souls expansion this week. We look at what’s coming up.

Reaper of Souls in nearly upon us, some eight months on from it’s official announcement last year. The expansion follows the recent shut-down of the game’s controversial Auction House which allowed players to buy upgrades for their toons with real money.

Diablo III’s new game content is set against the Gothic inspired town of Westmarch with the fallen angel of wisdom Malthael as the new main bad guy.

RoS will also bring a new Crusader class and some improvements to the current loot system. Players will be able to enchant loots to change the item stats and also change the look using transmogrification.

Level-wise the current cap will be increased to 70 and an improved Paragon levelling system will be implemented allowing for uncapped, account-wide advancement.

RoS will be coming to Mac and PC on 25th March but sadly no current plans are in place for PS3/Xbox 360 ports although Blizzard are working on RoS for PS4 which looks set to get the original Diablo III content bundled with the expansion on release.
