Chelsea star Ba at PSG stadium ahead of Champions League tie - 'We'll be fighting'

Demba Ba has posted a pic on his Instagram account as he drives by the Parcs des Princes.

For one player the upcoming Chelsea Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain seems to be more important than it is for others.

That player is Senegalese striker Demba Ba.

Born in Sevres, a suburb in the commune of Paris, Ba has a personal link to the capital club. Meanwhile he is also looking forward to meeting up with his old friend Yohan Cabaye. The pair played together at Newcastle United and Ba obviously is excited about reacquainting with his old pal.

Now the player has even expressed his excitement on Instagram - as he took a snapshot of where battle will commence.

Ba is in Paris today and obviously found his way around to the Parc des Princes - where Chelsea will take on Paris Saint-Germain on the 2nd April.

And he is clearly looking forward to this massive tie…

Just driving pass the stadium. In about 10 days time we'll be fighting in that place, trying to get an advantage back to the bridge.

The likelihood is that Ba won’t play in the game - unless Samuel Eto’o misses out with his hamstring problem.

But given how clearly eager he is you have to wonder if Jose Mourinho might just consider giving him a shock opportunity to prove himself.
