Victor Valdes 6 - Valdes had a solid game, but will feel he could've done better with Karim Benzema's first goal, which he got a firm hand on but couldn't prevent it from hitting the back of the net.
Dani Alves 7 - Alves was unlucky in giving away a penalty as his trip on Cristiano Ronaldo was clearly outside the box, and was effective going forward, going close with a thunderous drive that cannoned back off the post.
Gerard Pique 7 - Pique was once again effective in bringing the ball out of defence, but had some trouble with Karim Benzema's movement in the first half.
Javier Mascherano 6 - Went close with a long range strike in the second half, but struggled a little more than Pique did with a lively Benzema.
Jordi Alba 7 - Alba coped well with Gareth Bale tonight and also used his pace to get forward and support the attack in a key role out wide.
Sergio Busquets 7 - With 99% pass accuracy, Busquets fulfilled his usual role, winning the ball back in front of the back four and keeping things simple to set away the flair players in the Barcelona attack.
Xavi 7 - An influential part of the Barcelona midfield yet again, Xavi touched the ball a whopping 116 times - far more than any other player. His accurate passing kept the Barcelona attack ticking over.
Cesc Fabregas 6 - Failed to really impose himself on the game, and after an underwhelming display, the former Arsenal man was hauled off for Alexis Sanchez with ten minutes to play.
Andres Iniesta 9 - His slaloming runs had the Real Madrid at sixes and sevens on a number of occasions, and his trickery inside the box led to the second penalty which won the game.
Lionel Messi 9 - Hat-trick hero on the night, Messi offered more than just his goals with some driving runs at the heart of the Madrid defence, as well as a defence splitting pass in the build up to the first penalty.
Neymar 6 - Fairly quiet but came alive when it mattered, latching onto Messi's pass, cutting across Sergio Ramos and winning the penalty. Despite that big contribution, it wasn't the Brazilian's finest night.
Pedro 7 - His direct running was key as Barcelona chased the winner, and offered some late energy that troubled the tiring Madrid defence.
Alexis Sanchez 6 - Had just eight touches of the ball in a cameo role, having one snap shot in the process which was blocked.
