In the most-anticipated Champions League quarter-final draw for many years, Chelsea were drawn against French Champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The games between Chelsea and the French club have been spoken of as arguably the most difficult to predict among the four Champions League fixtures, as both sides play conservatively, and both are notoriously strong in defence.
According to France's le10sport, however, Galatasary defender Chedjou has Mourinho’s side as slight favourites to reach the semi-finals.
Chelsea progressed to the quarter-final stage with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Chedjou’s Galatasary at Stamford Bridge this week – after earlier drawing 1-1 in Turkey.
Chelsea's power upfront, Chedjou believes, could ultimately be the difference between the two teams, and he paid tribute to movement of the strikers - and Willian’s strength at pressing, saying:
'PSG have huge power this season', Chedjou said, 'But Chelsea have a weapon which makes it the most open of the quarter-final match...
'They are a step up offensively with Hazard, Willian, Torres or Eto'o. They alter as much as they can, they have a lot of freedom, and there is a lot of movement.
'We do not talk enough of Willian and his pressing, it is so strong'.
Willan has won his fair share of plaudits at Chelsea since making his £32m move from Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk, with his work off the ball receiving special attention. In 14 Premier League starts, Willian has made an impressive 35 tackles and 14 interceptions.
How important is Willian to Chelsea’s chances of progressing the Champions League semi-finals ?
