The Spanish champions want Zakaria Bakkali to play for their Castilla team next season.
Earlier this week we saw Liverpool being linked with the signature of PSV Eindhoven winger Zakaria Bakkali. The talented Belgian winger burst onto the scene after banging in a hat-trick in just his second appearance for the club against NEC Nijmegen - and his explosive wing play has got other teams watching on with envious eyes.
"Bakkali is a player that Wenger rates highly. Arsenal have kept an eye on him and are aware that other teams want him, so could move in the summer to buy him."
As far as PSV are concerned he is not for sale - with chief executive Marcel Brands stating the players aunt had confirmed her nephew didn’t plan on leaving the club:
"Aunt Hakima has indicated they are only focused on PSV and I have no indication that something else is playing out. In the three years that we've maintained a relationship with the Bakkali family, they never said things that have not been fulfilled, so I'm assuming it all works out."
But it is not just English sides taking notice - as Real Madrid are leading the Spanish charge for his signature.
Real are said to be keen on the starlet - but they are reportedly not eyeing him up for the first-team.
In fact they are said to want him for their B team playing in the second tier of Spanish football.
Real would, at first, place the Belgian starlet in the Castilla squad for 2014-15 - and see how he progresses before giving him an opportunity in the first-team - according to Diario AS.
Whether that would hinder or help Premier League chances of signing the player remains to be seen.
