What a goal!
Wayne Rooney has produced a moment of magic in the Premier League game at Upton Park this afternoon - as he fired in a half volley from just beyond the half-way line.
It was a wonderful goal from the Englishman and an absolute wonderful piece of invention from the player to leave Hammers keeper Adrian scrambling and dumbfounded.
It was a goal that harked back to a great goal scored by David Beckham all those years ago. Becks announced himself to the world with a stunning effort from inside his own half against Wimbledon that left Neil Sullivan scampering.
And the legend himself was in attendance.
Beckham, in the UK for Sport Relief, was at the game and he reacted in astonishment at the goal - caught of course by the Sky cameras.
He certainly seemed impressed.
