Manchester City Player Ratings vs Fulham: Toure and Fernandinho impress

Manchester City Etihad

How did Manchester City's players fare in their 5-0 win over Fulham? Here are the ratings for Manuel Pellegrini's side...

Joe Hart 7 - Hart had no saves to make in the game as Fulham failed to have any real prolonged pressure on the City goal.

Pablo Zabaleta 7 - Argentine Zabaleta linked up well with James Milner down the right hand side, but was caught out of position a couple of times by Fulham breaks.

Martin Demichelis 9 - Demichelis had a couple of shaky moments, but was strong against Fulham lone striker Cauley Woodrow, and scored his first goal in a City shirt to round off the 5-0 win.

Joleon Lescott 8 - Lescott was solid in the heart of the City defence, performing well in the air and putting in a number of blocks during the game.

Aleksandar Kolarov 8 - Kolarov offered a real attacking outlet down the left hand side, and was unlucky not to score when his shot in the first half crashed off the crossbar.

Yaya Toure 9 - Toure was the star of the show today, as he hit two penalties to give City a 2-0 lead, before wrapping up a hat-trick with a stunning long range strike.

Fernandinho 9 - Toure's partner in midfield also got on the scoresheet with a thunderous strike, and was energetic throughout, breaking up play on a number of occasions.

James Milner 8 - England international Milner is known for his hard work, but was a threat going forward throughout today, testing David Stockdale in the first half and sending a shot just over in the second half.

Samir Nasri 7 - Nasri wasn't quite as influential as he would've hoped today, but was always looking to get on the ball and unlock the Fulham defence.

David Silva 7 - Much like Nasri, Silva wasn't quite at his best today, but his close control and balance caused problems for Fulham in and around the edge of the box.

Alvaro Negredo 7 - Negredo won the penalty in the first half but was also a little sluggish today. He missed a guilt-edged chance in the second half, and his touch wasn't what we've become accustomed to.

Subs:

Jesus Navas 7 - Navas was able to run at the Fulham defence late on, and his pace caused problems down the right hand side.

Jack Rodwell 6 - Rodwell touched the ball just eight times after coming on for Toure, but with the game wrapped up, he wasn't really needed.

Stevan Jovetic 6 - Jovetic also had just eight touches after coming on to the field, but after an injury layoff, it was important to get him a cameo appearance.
