CONFIRMED: Newcastle United & Crystal Palace line-ups

St James Park

Here is how Newcastle United and Crystal Palace will line-up for this afternoon’s match at St. James' Park...

Newcastle United Starting XI: Krul; Yanga-Mbiwa, Williamson, Coloccini, Dummett; Sissoko, Anita, Tioté, Gouffran; de Jong, Cissé.

Subs: Elliot, S.Taylor, Haïdara, Gosling, Marveaux, Ben Arfa, Shola Ameobi

Subs: Hennessey, Gabbidon, O'Keefe, Guedioura, Bannan, Ince, Murray

Newcastle United will continue without manager Alan Pardew today, who continues to be suspended since his headbutt on Hull City midfielder David Meyler.

John Carver takes charge again today, as relegation threatened Crystal Palace travel to the North East in search of points to help their survival battle.

Tony Pulis' side sit just three points clear of danger, and with the end of the season drawing ever closer, points are imperative for the former Stoke boss, and a trip to St. James' Park could reap some rewards.

But the Magpies are unbeaten in five against Palace, including four wins in those games, whilst Palace have only ever won at St. James' Park twice - back in 1971 and 1998.
