Games between clubs at the top of the Premier League used to be tight affairs. But not this season.
Manchester City started the trend, trouncing many of the clubs who were supposed to be their closest challengers for the title.
Then Liverpool got in on the act. And now Chelsea have followed suit, winning comfortably in what was Arsene Wenger's 1000th match in charge of the Gunners.
Arsenal fans will point to the early (wrongful) dismissal of Kieran Gibbs as a possible game-changer, but if he had not have gone, the real guilty-party - Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - would have, and in truth Arsenal looked there for the beating even before that controversial moment.
The visitors were 2-0 down after just seven minutes, and Jose Mourinho's men were a cut-above for the entire match. This could have been the match that propelled Arsenal well and truly back into the title-race, but instead they now find themselves seven points behind Chelsea and wondering just where they will be if Liverpool and City win their games in hand.
Chelsea had 53% possession in the course of the match, which you would expect given their home (and man) advantage. But it was the fact that they managed 21 shots - 11 of which were on target - which shows how poor Arsenal were defensively compared to their outstanding showing against Tottenham last weekend.
But what did the Chelsea fans make of their side's performance?
We took to Twitter after the match to find out, and we have posted a selection of what we found below:
