The Champions League draw was completed today - and Chelsea now know who they will have to beat in order to make it into the semi-finals once again.
In comparison to Manchester United’s unfortunate luck at being drawn against Bayern Munich in the final eight Chelsea take on Paris Saint-Germain.
But PSG should not be underestimated.
They may not have the prestige of other names left in the competition - but nonetheless they should be considered a genuine threat.
That threat has come mainly from their ability to spend vast sums of money on players in a league bereft of big spenders. And their most recent acquisition was that of a Premier League star.
PSG won the race to snap up Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye in January - snapped up for a fee in the region of £19 million.
And his almost immediate reunion with Premier League competition sees him meet a former team-mate and good friend in Chelsea striker Demba Ba.
Ba and Cabaye played for Newcastle together - and the Chelsea striker has taken to his Instagram account to welcome the news of his upcoming meeting with an old friend:
Can't wait to see my mate yo!
Chelsea fans however will hope that friendliness ends as soon as the whistle blows in this tie.
