The Gunners are entering a tense phase of the campaign with the Premier League title within reach and an FA Cup sem-finals tie to contest next month.
Arsene Wenger’s men were dumped out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich for the second straight season last week but picked up a morale-boosting victory at the weekend at White Hart Lane.
The result was thoroughly enjoyed by the likes of a selfie-snapping Wojciech Szczesny and company, only for a quick return to business to take over with a massive clash away to Chelsea upcoming on Saturday.
Carl Jenkinson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain proved that the build-up to the potentially title-defining tilt at Stamford Bridge can’t be completely straight faced, however, enjoying a humorous, unorthodox question and answer session via Arsenal Player midweek.
The English duo explore the ins and outs of who would be better playing in the other’s position, space travel, being trolled by Emmanuel Eboue in training and survival skills on a desert island.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was kind enough to not point out amongst the banter that he’ll be set to take centre-stage for Arsenal for the trip to face the Blues, whilst his older team-mate continues to struggle for minutes - this when the pair struggled to think of a moment shared on the pitch.
At any rate, the session served as a quick respite from the pressures of competing for top honours for the payers - providing a spot of witty insight into life in the Gunners squad.
But once Saturday comes, expect it to be all business for the north London outfit.
