Is this a sign that star's Manchester United career is over?

Man United Nani

Nani didn't seem to have a care in the world as he went bowling ahead of David Moyes' biggest Manchester United game to date.

While Manchester United prepared for arguably the biggest game of David Moyes’ Old Trafford career so far last night, Portuguese winger Nani was at a bowling alley.

The Daily Mail ran with a story which showed Nani pictured at a bowling alley just two hours before the Champions League game between United and Olympiakos, seemingly without a thought for his gaffer or his teammates ahead of the tie.

If ever there was a sign that the 27-year-old is finished in terms with his association with United, this has to be it.

Recent signing Juan Mata spoke of his anticipation of the game on Twitter while publishing a photo on Instagram during the match.

The Spaniard’s association with the club has only been brief so far, whereas Nani has been a United player since he moved to the club from Sporting Lisbon back in 2007.

If you were a completely new fan to football and had never heard of Manchester United before, you’d assume that the Spaniard is the one who has been at the club for seven years.

Nani has featured in just eight Premier League games this season, yes he’s been injured, but even when he’s been fit he’s been routinely overlooked by Moyes who prefers the trio of Ashley Young, Adnan Januzaj and Antonio Valencia.

Nani is tied down to a long term contract with United, which expires in the summer of 2018 but with several sides reportedly circling around him like sharks, United could do a good piece of business this summer.

Juventus and Inter Milan have both been linked with him from Serie A while Tottenham have emerged as a potential side that could offer the Portuguese the chance to stay in England.

Despite a recent return to training for the star, he doesn’t seem to have his attention fully on the club right now and that is an indication it could be better for Moyes to sell him this summer, rather than keep an unfocused and uncommitted player on the books.
