Chelsea morning news: Sign striker is about to leave? Thorgan Hazard confirms Chelsea return

A round up news stories this morning about Chelsea.

Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o has revealed he’s open to a return to former club Inter Milan.

The forward is only with Chelsea on a contract to the end of the season which means he could be swiftly moved on after his Stamford Bridge adventure.

“If Moratti calls me, why not? I know that Inter has a new president but Moratti is still there,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

Eden Hazard has revealed he’s got his sights firmly set on the level of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Hazard has been world class for Chelsea this season and he aspires to be as prolific and important as the La Liga icons.

“For me, for a young player, it's very important to test myself against Ronaldo or Messi. Just to be on the pitch with them would be good and I would try to do well,” said the Belgian.

His brother, Thorgan, has revealed that he’s hoping to make an impact in the Chelsea first team next season.

Thorgan Hazard has been on loan with Zulte Waregem but says he’s not looking to stay at the Belgian side beyond the current campaign.

“I'll begin at Chelsea. We'll see - it's all too far off for now. We can't forget Playoffs 1 (the final stage of the Pro League campaign). We want to perform in that. After that, though, I will leave Belgium,” he said.
