VIDEO: The Ox pumps weights, but look who's in the background...

Arsenal winger Theo Walcott hit the gym as he recovers from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Walcott picked up the injury during the North London derby against Tottenham in the FA Cup at the Emirates, which prompted those gestures of ‘2-0’ from the England international towards the travelling Tottenham fans.

The good news is, he seems to be doing everything possible as he fights his way back to some sort of fitness which will allow him to take part in a full pre-season schedule for the Gunners ahead of the new season.

However, before Arsenal fans get too carried away, it appears he’s only doing basic leg exercises in the gym rather than matching the Ox’s ability to pump weights or hitting a treadmill.

There’s a long way to go but it’s a positive sign.
