Belgian attacker compared to the very best.
The Belgian's stunning display saw him contribute nine successful dribbles - Ronaldo compelted just two last night for Madrid, and create four goalscoring opportunities - equal to the Madrid man.
Hazard could not score twice, or even once, by himself unlike Ronaldo, but the performance was a display to be proud of and a step he is heading in the right direction.
He was fouled six times by Galatasaray's defenders, notably by former Arsenal man Emmanuel Eboue, who was roasted by him all night.
A passing accuracy of 88 per cent was also the best in the Chelsea team apart from Frank Lampard (92%), illustrating that he knows when to play the ball and when to run with it.
His work rate was also praised by Pat Nevin on Chelsea TV, stating: "Willian and Hazard going forward, closing down their work rate was off the scale, you can see why Juan Mata was let go."
With a match against Arsenal at the weekend a crucial one, Hazard is hitting his stride at just the right time.
Here's what excitable Chelsea fans made of his sensational display, via Twitter:
