Vidal ignores Man United interest for now

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal knows Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona want him but right now only has eyes for the Old Lady.

Juventus star Arturo Vidal has given a typically honest interview in which he stresses that he isn't interested in the possibility of joining Manchester United, Real Madrid or Barcelona for now.

The Chilean international is widely regarded as one of the best players in Serie A and has reportedly attracted the attentions of most of Europe's top clubs.

Manchester United were linked with Vidal as they search for the answer to their midfield riddle, but Juventus have always been adamant that he is going nowhere.

In an interview published in Tuttosport, Vidal stressed that he is completely focussed on Juventus, but did admit that he couldn't say what would happen in the future.

"I keep my feet on the ground otherwise I would go mad," Vidal is quoted as saying. "I don't think much about what people say.

"I just concentrate completely on training and playing and on nice things like my family, who keep me humble.

"My name is in Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United's plans but I'll repeat that I'm only thinking about my games and giving everything for the Juventus shirt.

"On the other hand, one day, who knows? However, when you start thinking about these things you lose your way on the field and that's exactly what I don't want."

Vidal is one of Juventus' prized assets and is widely valued at more than £30m but he could be the subject of some ambitious bids in the summer.
