Tomas Rosicky took time out after the North London derby to talk with one fan who had to watch the game from a different vantage point.
While Wojciech Szczesny took a selfie and Lukas Podolski celebrated with Arsenal fans, Tomas Rosicky produced an admirable and respectable gesture towards on supporter after the final whistle at White Hart Lane last weekend.
The Czech midfielder took time to go and talk to a fan who had made the trip to Arsenal’s local rivals, confined to watching the game in a wheelchair.
Rosicky published the picture of himself talking to the fan through his Instagram account, simply stating ‘It’s all about respect my fans’.
It was a great gesture from a player who could easily have overlooked it, focused on getting carried away with the dramatic celebrations that were breaking out all around him.
Rosicky had a blinder against Tottenham last Sunday and he stands a very good chance of starting in the side which faces Chelsea in the early kick-off this Saturday as the Gunners look to get an advantage in the Premier League title race.
