Tottenham ace Nacer Chadli admits he has suffered sleepless nights after the loss to Arsenal.
After a depressing derby day defeat at the hands of Arsenal, Tottenham are left reflecting on where it all went wrong.
Manager Tim Sherwood said post-game that he was happy with the commitment of his players at least, and one Spurs star has come out in the last 24 hours to talk about how much he cares about the loss.
Belgian winger Nacer Chadli told Tottenham's official website: "Two days later and I’m still thinking about this game. I didn’t get a lot of sleep for two nights thinking about it.
“It’s a huge shame that we lost the game. We had more of the ball and more chances. We deserved more."
Such a common complaint of modern day footballers is that they do not care enough, and simply go home and collect the pay cheque whatever the result. Current Spurs loanee Benoit Assou-Ekotto even controversially admitted as such.
It's this which Sherwood details he is trying to weed out at the club; whether Chadli is ultimately good enough for Spurs is another matter - but with by displaying the right attitude, he is winning half the battle at least.
