Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o admitted after their Champions League win that he would consider a return to Inter Milan.
Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o was the under card to the headline act last night, at least that was the billing as Didier Drogba returned to Stamford Bridge.
For all the banners and placards paying tribute to the former Blues legend playing for Galatasaray, it was Eto'o who stole the headlines, scoring early on to set Chelsea on their way to a comfortable 2-0 win.
Yet all the adulation seems to have Eto'o considering a return himself; to a place where he was adored - and left as a Champions League winner.
Shortly after Chelsea's win last night, the Cameroonian international found himself quizzed over his future by Sky Italia; and he did not exactly rebuff the question.

All things considered it would not be a surprise at all. Eto'o showed last night that he is the best of a fairly decent bunch Chelsea have at their disposal up front - but neither he, Fernando Torres nor Demba Ba are seen as players capable of leading the club forward long-term.
With players like Diego Costa and Jackson Martinez linked with incoming summer switches, Eto'o moving onto a place where he is loved, rather than simply appreciated, would be a logical solution for all.
