Arsenal morning news: Could Moyes humiliate Gunners with transfer coup?

Julian Draxler

A round up of news stories this morning about Arsenal.

Arsenal could face competition from a Premier League rival in the race to sign the £37 million rated Julian Draxler.

The Mirror has suggested that Manchester United are interested in the 20-year-old, which could make it more difficult for the Gunners to get their hands on the player they tried to sign last January.

With Bayern Munich also reportedly interested, a bidding war could break out between the three clubs this summer.

Arsene Wenger has revealed he feels the Premier League title is out of Arsenal’s hands.

The Gunners remain firmly in the race following the 1-0 win against Tottenham last weekend.

“It's not in our hands because even if we win our game in hand we are still a point behind but if we continue to win our games that will of course be very important. Then it is in our hands,” he told the Arsenal website.

Midfielder Tomas Rosicky has piled the praise onto his manager, calling Wenger a legend.

The Czech has revealed he doesn’t think anyone will ever repeat the longevity of service and the success that Wenger has achieved at the North London club.

“It is absolutely unique. I don't think that anyone will repeat something like that again. He is a legend for this club,” he’s quoted by the Telegraph.
