The toughest decision on Mesut Ozil that Arsene Wenger could have to make

Tomas Rosicky's form complicates Arsenal's selection problems when everybody is fit.

Arsenal are red hot favourites to win the FA Cup, as the highest ranked Premier League side left in the competition at the semi-final stages.

The contests take place on the weekend on April 12, and for Arsenal's record signing Mesut Ozil, the possibility of missing out on the match is a distinct possibility due to his 'serious' hamstring injury picked up in Munich.

Should the Gunners get one stage further, to the final - will he walk straight back into the side? It's far from clear cut.

Tomas Rosicky starred in his absence in the second half in Munich and netted the winner against Tottenham in the derby.

It may just be that Ozil does not automatically regain his place in the side, with former midfielder Paul Merson arguing Rosicky is a must-pick.

He told SkySports: "Rosicky should play every single week. I think he's different class."

It's the toughest choice on Ozil that Wenger could possibly have to make; leaving him out of the FA Cup Final, but on this form, can he seriously leave out Rosicky or Santi Cazorla?

Cazorla played in the centre against Spurs, with Rosicky out wide, and to accommodate all three it would mean Lukas Podolski missing out.

This is all assuming Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain keeps his place in the centre; far from assured if and when Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere return.

Ozil was bought to be the difference maker, and he has shown it in patches. The aim is for him to return and end the season on a high note - but if the club reach the FA Cup Final, but the performances of his teammates in recent weeks make an automatic starting spot for him more complex than he may prefer.
