Franck Moussa of Coventry City won an award for goal of the year against Leyton Orient – but it's not the only screamer to his name.
Franck Moussa took the award for this delightful chip earlier in the season against an Orient side who were at the time top of the league. You can tell from his reaction he's used to scoring worldies. He's made a habit of popping up with impressive goals, after winning Coventry's award for goal of the season last year.
A quick Youtube search brings up a selection of wonder-strikes from the 24-year-old, whose target this season to reach double figures from midfield was achieved quickly – his 14th goal of the season came in a 1-2 defeat at Carlisle.
The goal that won him the award for his club last season came against MK Dons and is well worth sharing:
Moussa was a free agent in the summer of 2012 after being released by Championship table-toppers Leicester City, but Mark Robins took him to Coventry and managed to get the best out of him. The Belgian's contract runs out in June and Sky Blues fans will be hoping for an extension and continuation of the type of goals that saw him win this year's award.
As good as his goals against Orient and MK Dons were, Moussa may have topped them when he found the top right corner against Port Vale and in January against Preston. Enjoy:
Which do you think is Moussa's best strike out of these?
