A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has demanded Chris Foy doesn’t officiate games involving his club.
Mourinho was furious with Foy over the weekend as his Chelsea side went down 1-0 away at Aston Villa.
“Maybe it’s helpful that the (Premier League referees’) committee doesn’t send him (Foy) to our matches,” said Mourinho according to Sky Sports.
In transfer news, Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy are reportedly interested in signing Frank Lampard.
The Chelsea icon was linked with a move to the MLS before he signed on for an extra season at Stamford Bridge.
The Sun reports the American side want Lampard as one of their three designated players above the salary cap.
Former Chelsea player Didier Drogba has revealed he’s apprehensive about a return to Stamford Bridge.
Drogba is in line to start for Galatasaray tomorrow night when he returns to Chelsea in competitive action for the first time.
“It is a very special moment because I do not know what my reaction will be. I am quite apprehensive about it,” Drogba told UEFA.
