Andre Schurrle says Jose Mourinho is making him an even better player.
Chelsea's Andre Schurrle has paid tribute to manager Jose Mourinho for making him an even better player than before he signed.
The German has had a patchy time since moving to the club, in and out of the starting line-up, but with Willian set for suspension against Arsenal - the versatile attacker may just be set for a starring role.
He silenced the doubters over his talent with a superb hat-trick against Fulham last month, with Mourinho describing him as 'cold-blooded' in front of goal.
In an interview with German magazine Kicker this week, the forward stated:
"He has mastered the psychological tricks that he teases the players and incites, so gets the special performances from me... I feel on the pitch now simply stronger."
He went on: "I'm living my dream in my dream club."
The comments about his manager, along with similar praise from Eden Hazard in the past 24 hours, sum up the high regard in which Mourinho is held. How David Moyes must long for some of that same stardust at Manchester United?
