West Bromwich Albion players were quick to take to social media following their 2-1 victory over Swansea on Saturday, with Youssouf Mulumbu dedicating his late winner to Nicolas Anelka.
Anelka was sacked by Albion late on Friday night, after refusing to apologise to the club, supporters, sponsors and the wider community.
The Baggies secured only their fifth win of the season at the Liberty Stadium, thanks to goals from the fit again Stephane Sessegnon and Mulumbu. The win lifts them three points clear of the relegation places with just eight games remaining.
Albion players took to Twitter straight after the game to thank travelling fans for their support, with Mulumbu dedicating his goal to Anelka.
