Liverpool already have a group of attacking players to be proud of, but that has not stopped them being linked with new recruits.
Most recently, the Reds have been tipped to make a move for Hoffenheim attacking midfielder Roberto Firmino.
Reports back in February claimed Brendan Rodgers was considering a summer move for the Brazilian, who has a reported price-tag of £12million. And his form shows no sign of dipping, as he proved with another goal on Saturday.
Firmino put his side 2-0 up against Mainz only to see the visitors roar back with four goals in the last 23 minutes to take the victory. But his latest strike made it a quite remarkable 19 for the season, and then there is the not-so-small matter of his 13 assists!
In short, Firmino is an outstanding talent and one Rodgers would do very well to secure.
He fits the mould of Liverpool’s transfer policy – a young talent with huge potential and the ability to maintain the Reds’ impressive form.
You can see Firmino’s latest strike below. And trust me, it is a beauty...although not a patch on Eugen Polanski's opener.
