Sunday rumour mill: Mourinho makes decision on Lukaku's future

The Daily Mail have stated that the Chelsea boss will sell the powerful Belgian striker this summer and replace him with one of two options…

Romelu Lukaku continues to impress while on loan at Everton, with his future a source of contention for the Chelsea fans.

Plenty want the Belgian striker to return to Stamford Bridge next season, but rumblings in the British press today suggest that this may not happen.

The Daily Mail have indicated that Jose Mourinho has made a decision to sell Lukaku in the summer, and will look to replace him with either Diego Costa or Radamel Falcao.

Lukaku has netted ten times in 19 starts for the Toffees this season, build on an impressive loan stint with West Brom last season.

However, the 20-year-old has been outspoken about his future since being farmed out by Chelsea, with Mourinho taking exception to his comments.

With Financial Fair Play rules set to impinge on how clubs operate, the Blues are believed to be ready to cash in on Lukaku to soften the cost of signing a new striker.
