Yesterday we brought you a story about PSV Eindhoven striker Jurgen Locadia, who was linked with a move to Aston Villa at the end of last year.
The 20-year-old is enjoying a fine season in Holland, where he has been benefiting from some expert advice from former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.
But Locadia did not need any help scoring his latest goal, after Vitesse Arnhem goalkeeper Piet Velthuizen made a mess of clearing a simple back-pass and allowing the striker to score a goal that ultimately helped PSV to a 2-1 victory.
Collecting the ball under little threat, the ‘keeper took his time before going to kick the ball with one foot only to see it cannon off the other, leaving Locadia with the simplest of finishes.
But as van Nistelrooy may well have told him, you have to be in the right place at the right time, and the reported Villa target certainly was on Saturday.
