Things have been pretty quiet of late when it comes to Julian Draxler. At least that is when you compare a rather refined couple of months with the hullabaloo of January when you could not go a day without reading another story linking the Schalke starlet with either Arsenal or Bayern Munich.
For now the 20-year-old can focus solely on helping his club maintain their impressive Bundesliga form that has seen them climb to third, just a point behind Borussia Dortmund.
With that in mind, it appears likely that Schalke will again qualify for the Champions League next season, and Draxler has been speaking about that very thing in quotes reported by Sky Sports reporter Dirk Schlarmann.
"I'm sure that Schalke will play in the Champions League next season," Draxler is quoted as saying. "If I will play for Schalke next season I will decide in the summer."
It may not be the concrete answer Arsenal fans will have been looking for, but at appears that he is yet to make up his mind as to what his future will hold - which in part will of course be down to the offers (or otherwise) received by interested parties.
But in just a few months, the player tipped for super-stardom will decide on his next step.
