Manchester City beat Hull City 2-0 earlier today.
Manchester City won 2-0 at the KC Stadium on Saturday despite having captain Vincent Kompany sent off just 10 minutes into the game.
The Belgian defender was shown a red card for bundling over Hull City striker Nikica Jelavic when he was bearing down on goal. But David Silva provided the perfect tonic by scoring for the visitors just four minutes later.
The hosts had more possession due to their man-advantage, but they failed to create too many clear-cut opportunities, having just five shots on target.
That was made even worse when City scored a second from one of only three shots on target for them - Edin Dzeko netting late on.
The result means City are now second, six points behind leaders Chelsea with two games in hand. Hull are 13th, five points clear of the relegation-zone.
