Armin Hodzic netted a brace for Bosnian side Zeljeznicar against rivals HSK Zrinjski.
The 19-year-old striker is showing huge promise whilst back in his homeland on a year-long loan spell, netting 10 goals in 15 games.
The Bosnian U19 international joined Liverpool as a 16-year-old after breaking a number of goalscoring records in the Bosnian youth leagues.
Dubbed ‘the next Edin Dzeko’ for his 6´0” frame, the youngster put pen-to-paper on a six-year deal which will keep him on Merseyside until at least the summer of 2017.
After scoring lots of goals for the Liverpool academy side, he returned to Bosnia to compete with former club Zeljeznicar to gain valuable first-team football.
Last week, against rivals HSK Zrinjski, Armin Hodzic lit up the game with an impressive man of the match display. Comfortable with both feet, he put the opposition to the sword as he netted two goals, showing some excellent movement and finishing.
Brendan Rodgers will certainly be pleased with his progress, and over the next few years, Liverpool fans will be hearing much more about their talented youngster.
