Chelsea watch - PSV's Dutch starlet, Porto's world class frontman and young Saint Etienne defender all involved.
In our newest feature, we take a look at three players Chelsea should be keeping an eye on this weekend with the summer transfer window fast approaching.
Unlike most player suggestion pieces, we're going to work this on a week-to-week basis, looking at players either in form, or playing in situations which could tilt Chelsea's interest either way.
In our first installment of this feature, we're going to look at three players with very bright futures in the game. One is a player well-known to Mourinho, another is a talented starlet which could come into the cross-hairs this weekend and the other is a player already contracted to the club.
The PSV starlet has been in stunning form this season, scoring an impressive 10 goals, despite largely playing in a wide-attacking position. He has crucially hit form going into the back-end of the season and in his last five appearances, he has produced three goals and two assists.
Although there is little linking the player with a move to Stamford Bridge, there is no doubt a strong performance tomorrow could put him on the radar. If the Chelsea scouts monitoring Vitesse become impressed, then it certainly viable.
Our second suggestion really is a player that needs no introduction to Chelsea fans, or Mourinho. However, with a big game lined up in the league this weekend, all eyes will be on Porto him.
The 27-year-old has scored in his last two games and will be eager to keep the run going after failing to net in his previous nine. The Colombian star proved to be difference on Thursday night, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win over Napoli in the Europa League.
Our third and final suggestion is Mourinho to keep an eye on one of his loan stars.
The 19-year-old defender will perhaps have one of the hardest jobs in Europe over the weekend as Saint Etienne travel to the Parc des Princes, which is of course, the home of Paris Saint-Germain. I think it's fair to say not many teenagers will be given a job trickier than trying to contain the likes of Cavani, Lavezzi, Lucas and of course, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
I think it will be a game for both the Chelsea staff and supporters to keep an eye on as the scores roll in from the weekend's games.
