The Borussia Dortmund defender has stated he back to 100 per cent fitness, while the existing Gunner still has not signed a new contract.
Despite the likes of Tomas Rosicky and Per Mertesacker signing new contracts with Arsenal, the future of Bacary Sagna remains up in the air.
The veteran French defender is out of contract in the summer, with every chance he could leave the North London club on a free transfer.
With Arsene Wenger sure to be keeping tabs on other right-back options in the event that Sagna does not pen a new deal, Lukasz Piszczek must surely be an option for the Emirates Stadium side.
The Poland international has consistently impressed for Borussia Dortmund in recent years, but has spent the majority of this season on the sidelines through injury.
The talented defender has recently made his comeback to the first-team fold at Signal Iduna Park, with Piszczek admitting that he is now 100 per cent fit again.
"For two weeks I was in the phase where it was all about getting my fitness back and moving forward again but now I can say that I'm not missing anything. I'm 100 per cent,” he told derwesten.de.
With extensive Champions League and international experience and a link to other Polish players at Arsenal, there is every chance that Wenger could look to Piszczek this summer.
The Gunners have been linked with him in the past, with existing players Rosicky and Thomas Eisfeld being signed from Jurgen Klopp's side.
