Chelsea manager sent off in bad-tempered contest.
An angry and frustrated Jose Mourinho was sent off at Villa Park as his side slumped to a 1-0 defeat.
Both Willian and Ramires received red cards from referee Chris Foy, and the Chelsea manager was far from happy with the officiating, making his feelings known.
Each of the Brazilian's red cards were for two bookable offences, with Ramires' coming in the 90th minute. A goal from Villa's Fabian Delph eight minutes earlier separated the two sides.
It was Mourinho's reaction to the referee's decision which saw him sent to the stands, and it's unclear at this stage whether the Premier League could impose a touchline ban.
With a pivotal home game against Arsenal next up in the league, Mourinho certainly would prefer not to be up in the stands as he seeks to get one over on Arsene Wenger.
Chelsea had managed just two shots on target from 15 attempts against Villa, with Fernando Torres failing to test the goalkeepers with all five of his efforts.
