Brazilian Roberto Firmino of Hoffenheim has been one of the revelations of the Bundesliga this term. The attacking playmaker has been at the German outfit since 2011 - and always showed flashes of his talent throughout his time at the club.
However, it was not until this season that he started to produce his best.
Firmino has 12 goals and eight assists in the Bundesliga this season - and considering Hoffenheim’s financial uncertainty there was always going to be interest in his potential services.
Quite how much interest has been reported might just come as a surprise.
Firmino has already been heavily linked with Liverpool this month - with reports suggesting he was now their ‘top transfer target’ for the summer.
Manchester United were also linked a couple of days ago - and according to German publication Bild a mass of scouts from across the continent will be coming to check him out this weekend.
Hoffenheim take on Mainz later today at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena and it is believed that a whopping 12 scouts could be coming to watch him - in order to compile reports for several interested parties.
The report mentions AC Milan, Inter Milan, VfL Wolfsburg, Schalke 04 and of course Liverpool as some of the teams interested - while Zenit St Petersburg are also said to be keen, so will likely be in attendance.
But there is also a brand new Premier League team said to be intrigued by the 22-year-olds breakout season in Germany.
Chelsea are said to be sending somebody to run the rule over the player today - which would add to their ever growing Brazilian contingent.
Valued at around £12 million he could be an absolute bargain for any interested club - so it is worth keeping tabs on how he does this afternoon, and whether it will be enough to earn a Premier League bid.
