News and gossip from Stamford Bridge this morning.

Jose Mourinho has slammed the Premier League for not caring about the players that make up the league.

Mourinho believes that the fixture schedule in England - governed mainly by the decisions of Sky TV - is to blame for the English clubs poor performances on the continent.

"I'm trying to get this for all of us, not just me. I don't understand why Manchester City play today. Why a team who plays in Europe on Wednesday must play at 1245 on the Saturday? I don't understand why Galatasaray played last night and we have to play today before our game on Tuesday. And why at 5.30 and not 1245? There is something in this country that goes outside my understanding.”

Current star player Eden Hazard seemed to agree on tiredness front. He stated:

“I think the team are tired but it’s normal because we have played a lot of games. Now we need to concentrate on training to work on our recovery and stay focused. I hope at the end we’ll see that we are on top.”

Nemanja Matic has been speaking about his return to Stamford Bridge. The Serbian left the club as part of a deal to bring David Luiz in back in 2011 - but he said it took him ‘one minute’ to decide he was coming back:

“I had no doubts about coming back to Chelsea. I spoke with my agent for one minute, and that was it. I didn’t need any longer to think about it. I didn’t know what my contract was going to be. I just said, ‘OK, I’m going back to Chelsea, and we will worry about the details later’. We made a deal, I am very happy. If you ask me about money, I say it is more important to improve as a player, and to play good football in a good league.”

Hulk’s agent has effectively ruled out a move to Chelsea.

Speaking to Italian media Teodoro Fonseca stated:

“Hulk has a very good contract with Zenit and is happy in Russia. The truth is that he is not thinking about the future, but Zenit, Zenit and Zenit only. He is not thinking of another club because he has no contact with anyone. And now is certainly not the time for the transfer market because the World Cup is almost here."
