The Liverpool frontman was able to embark on a sensational goalscoring run thanks to his ever-blossoming partnership with the effervescent Luis Suarez.
It has been a brilliant month for Daniel Sturridge, whose tremendous form was capped earlier today after he was awarded the Player of the Month award for his efforts in February.
Sturridge's return at the start of January has resulted in an upturn in form on Liverpool's part, with the Reds now well placed to make an assault at the title, despite Chelsea's seven-point lead at this stage.
But the striker has saved his best form for February, when he really came to the fore to lead his side's bid with a stunning run in front of goals.
To epitomise how successful February was for Sturridge, here is his month in numbers...
1 - Sturridge notched a solitary strike for England during the last month as he added a cap and to his international reputation with a well-placed header to help his country to a 1-0 win over Denmark.
4 - The amount of fixtures Sturridge took part in this month, registering in each of those to keep up his remarkable form.
5 - Five goals across those four games for the lethal hitman, who notched against West Bromwich Albion, Arsenal, Fulham and Swansea City (2).
7 - The amount of games Sturridge scored in succession having already found the net against Everton, Aston Villa and Stoke City following his January return.
9 - The chances he created this month, which included an assist for Jordan Henderson's first goal against Swansea and teeing up Philippe Coutinho for the leveller at Fulham.
