Liverpool are staging a late surge for the Premier League title after an impressive run of form has seen them close the gap at the top of the table.
They are the league's top-scorers and much of that is to do with the form of their impressive strike duo of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge - known to the fans as SAS.
For Sturridge, he has extra reason for hoping to manage pulling off the unthinkable this season.
At the moment Chelsea sit at the top of the Premier League table and Jose Mourinho’s men are now the favourites to win the title.
Chelsea let him go for £12 million last January - after a spell in London that the player admitted recently made him ‘fall out of love’ with the beautiful game - so he would love to knock them off their perch.
In fact his best spell whilst a Chelsea player was probably the time he spent on loan at Bolton Wanderers.
Owen Coyle snapped him up in January 2011 to help until the end of the season.
It was an inspired decision. Sturridge was superb for Bolton during his time at the Reebok Stadium. He scored in his first four games for the club - and went on to bag eight goals in his 12 appearances in a Bolton shirt.
And he has been speaking to one of his former team-mates on Twitter about their time together.
Stuart Holden is without doubt one of the most under-rated players I saw play in the Premier League in recent years. The American international has unfortunately had a really rough time with a succession of horrific injuries recently.
He had a knee operation earlier this week, ruling him out for a further six to nine months - and has only played nine games in the past three seasons.
But in his absence at Bolton there is one player he would like to come back - which this tongue in cheek Tweet exchange between the two former team-mates…
Wishful thinking Stuart but somehow we feel Sturridge has outgrown the Championship these days.
