Feyenoord

Dutch media sources are suggesting that Rodney Kongolo is set for a switch to the Etihad Stadium.

Feyenoord has been a source of excellent young talent over recent years, with the latest prospects to catch the eye of European suitors brothers Rodney and Terrance Kongolo.

The older of the pair Terrance, 20, has broken into the Rotterdam club’s first team, but it is believed that Rodney, 16, could be on his way to England.

Dutch website AD.nl have suggested that Manchester City have finalised a deal to bring the talented teenager to the Etihad Stadium.

Kongolo junior was linked with a switch to Liverpool a couple of weeks ago, while it is believed that a number of major European clubs are keeping an eye on a player labeled as ‘the next Patrick Vieira.

However, it looks like Manuel Pellegrini’s side have won the race for the gifted midfielder, with the reported deal set to give him a higher wage than his older brother.
