FA Cup elation, Champions League disappointment and a severe injury sums up the past week for Arsenal.
It’s been quite a last seven days for Arsenal.
They started things off well last weekend with a bang against Everton before mid-week brought about an exit from the Champions League and an injury to their record signing Mesut Ozil.
The Gunners will now be fully focused on the North London derby this weekend and we’ve decided to take a look back at their past week in picture form.
The FA Cup provided Mesut Ozil with a chance to build on his positive performance for Germany last week.
He did just that with a neat finish during Arsenal's 4-1 against Everton, opening the scoring and generally looking a menace throughout.
Expectation had also started to build up that key midfielder Aaron amsey was edging closer to a return from injury.
The Welshman took time out to go and watch Wales try to defeat England in the Six Nations, with his return date firmly fixed for the North London derby.
It was all smiles for Arsenal as they went into training ahead of the Bayern Munich game.
The feeling was positive after the FA Cup win and based on the win the Gunners achieved at the Allianz Arena last season.
Once the Gunners got to Germany, the boss settled down with Mikel Arteta to speak at the pre-match press conference.
The feeling was still positive as Wenger gave updates on his squad, hinting that Thomas Vermaelen would return to the side at left-back.
Things got under way in Munich with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain the star performer for the Gunners on the night.
A goal from Bastian Schweinsteiger put Bayern 3-0 up over the two legs before Lukas Podolski hit back but unfortunately Arsenal couldn't build on their one goal.
Joy turned to misery for Arsenal's midfield magician with Ozil taken off during the game with a hamstring problem, which Arsene Wenger has since confirmed will keep the German out of action for weeks.
News then broke that Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner had been caught drunk and disorderly in the middle of Copenhagen while his teammates battled away in Munich to leave things at the opposite end of the spectrum to where the week started.
