PICTURE: United man returns to training after nearly three months out

Manchester United may soon be able to call on Nani again, after the winger was photographed taking part in first-team training on Thursday.

Phil Jones posted a picture on his official Instagram account earlier today of he and his Manchester United teammates taking part in first-team training.  All the usual suspects were there, but if you looked closely, there was also an unexpected extra in the form of Portuguese winger Nani.

The 27-year-old has missed the last three months of the season with a hamstring injury.  But it appears he could soon return to help David Moyes in what remains of the current campaign.

The United manager hinted at the start of February that Nani could return this month, and that appears to be the case.

Having played so little football this season, it is no surprise that the winger's impact has been minimal, with just one goal to his name to date - in the 5-0 Champions League win against Bayer Leverkusen.

But on his day Nani certainly has the talent to make the difference, and despite rumours persisting of an imminent exit, he could still be the catalyst for a goal or two as he looks to stake a claim for a World Cup place this summer.
