I am casting my eye back to this exact day, the 13th March 2014, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 13th March 2013…
Right place, wrong time
A year ago to the day and Arsenal were (not) celebrating a result that, two days ago would have taken them to extra-time against Bayern Munich.
Goals from Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny saw Arsenal win 2-0 in the Allianz Arena - but unfortunately, their 3-1 defeat to the Bavarians in the first-leg left them fighting a losing battle.
It was however a proud moment for the side - who became one of only three teams to beat Bayern last season - and a year later they became the only team out of 100 games to prevent them from scoring.
But a year later they could not do the same - a 1-1 draw in Munich sending them tumbling out of the competition.
Abramovich watching Mourinho
Was this the start of negotiations? The socially acceptable way pf bending the ear of Jose Mourinho Blue again?
Perhaps, perhaps not - but a year ago it was revealed that Roman Abramovich had bought Mourinho a new watch worth around £350k.
Whether or not a watch was given or not was never confirmed however watch or no watch, Mourinho was appointed in the summer and he now looks set to take his beloved Chelsea to the Premier League title once again.
Liverpool were reportedly set to send young winger Raheem Sterling on loan to the Championship.
The England international had gone off the boil after an exceptionally good start to the campaign - and Rodgers was keen to keep him from overworking himself in his first full season.
However no loan deal ever happened and a year later he is an integral member of the Liverpool team.
